Ok, so first off I'm going to tell you that this cover is one of the worst I've seen.  However, don't let that stop you, the story is pretty darned good.

Cameron's Dad is dead and his Grandma Ives has offered to bring him back from the dead.  But she needs Cam to collect some items to do so.

Grandma Ives introduces Cam to the Daemon Parallel, the human and demon worlds have spots where special people can cross over.  Cam becomes sort of a smuggler between Grandma Ives and the daemon world, while searching out the tools needed to resurrect his Dad.

Cam is a fairly responsible boy, until he feels passionate or is dared or even given advice.  Then he's off to prove himself.  Like a regular guy.

There's a daemon that looks like a spider, an enchanted girl, werewolf teenagers and more.

I like that the walls between the worlds are thin and sometimes things seem to seep back and forth.  It's not fabulous, but it's pretty good.
