I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
The third book in the Vampire Empire series starts right off action packed and just doesn't slow down. This is one of the best two-author series I've read, there's no telling who writes which parts. I sincerely hope that this isn't the end of the series, I'd love to see what becomes of Gareth and Adele in a possibly peaceful time.
This time we find Gareth on the frontlines fighting on the side of the humans. But don't worry, Adele isn't a girl to stay home during a time of war.
It's great to see Adele grow into her powers - political and otherwise. She's a strong woman and won't let anyone overrule her. Gareth is fierce, loyal and protective, yet he knows to let Adele do her own thing.
If you haven't started this series, give it a try - it's a completely different take on vampires and humans and how they live together.
