I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Lorelei's parents disappeared ten years ago and her grandparents raised her...and it seems she's picked up a couple of creepy stalkers recently.

Lorelei (which is a gorgeous name!) knows who both her stalkers are.  One is a classmate she's grown up with and one is the new kid in school.  Both are portrayed as hot and sexy...seriously, are there any geeky boys or average boys out there in YA land?

Public Announcement Here:
Ladies - stalkers are NEVER hot and sexy! I don't care if they're demons, angels or the kid from Biology class.  It seems to me that stalking has been glamorized lately in YA and this book set me on edge about it.

The writing is decent, but I didn't think there were enough twists and surprises.  The make out scenes were a little hot and heavy for our younger YA readers.

Lorelei is a good character - I do love snarky girls!  She also seemed to have a good grasp on when to freak out and when to stay and fight.

I'm 50/50 on this book.  Let me know what you think.

  1. Okay I so agree with you that stalkers are never hot and sexy so I'm already not sure how I feel about this book. I do however like the sound of Lorelei. I don't know, I may still check this one out. Great review!
